"DARE TO BEAR"
Salle Belle Epoque, Hôtel Hermitage, 7pm
To celebrate the annual "Pink Ribbon Walk", a charity gala dinner will be held in the Salle Belle Époque of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. Our guest of honor is American actor Noah Wyle, who played Dr. Carter alongside George Clooney in the famous series "ER". Recently affected by the illness of one of his relatives, he will be present at this dîner as well as at the "Pink Ribbon Walk" to be held a few days later, on February 12, 2023.
Why "Dare to bear"?
Playing on the double meaning of the English word "bare/bear" or, in French "Osez vous dénuder" and Bare/bear, Pink Ribbon Monaco hopes to de-dramatize breast cancer screening.
"Dare to bear" is a fun pun to encourage women to get routine screening. By replacing the word "bare" with "bear", we allow a familiar and beloved object to become the rallying cry of all women and encourage them to make a screening appointment.
Direct and funny, the message is easily memorized and hopefully put into practice! Dare to examine!
Auction for the benefit of the Princess Grace Hospital Center
Several objects will be put up for sale at an auction to raise the funds needed to purchase equipment necessary for screening in the senology department of the Princess Grace Hospital Centre of Monaco.

Activities
5 km walk
Raffle ticket prizes will be on sale (10€ for 5 tickets).
A commemorative t-shirt will be offered to you by our partner SBM OFFSHORE.
In partnership with the Monegasque Athletics Federation (F.M.A) and SBM OFFSHORE, 12 February 2023 will perpetuate a great sporting and charitable tradition in the Principality, already adopted throughout the world. Unlike other sporting events, participants will not have a number on their bibs, but will write themselves messages of support or tribute to breast cancer victims. It is not a question of completing the course in record time, but of participating in large numbers in order to bring visibility to the cause we support.
How participate?
Registration costs 30€ and can be done:
On Pink Ribbon Monaco’s website: www.pinkribbon.mc (secure payment).
On 11 February 10:00 to 17:00 on the esplanade of Port Hercule and on 12 February, at the Pink Ribbon Monaco stand, before the Walk. Credit card, cheques and cash accepted.
Why participate?
The 'Pink Ribbon' march represents not only an awareness-raising action through the number of participants but also a moving show of support for women, sisters, daughters, mothers and friends. If a person participates on behalf of a deceased person, the race becomes a tribute to the life and courage of the victim. A person can also participate in support of a breast cancer patient. It should be noted that a large number of participants are themselves sick or survivors in remission.
